This week the Lauren Cecchi New York Team went a bit off the grid for our latest discovery in the city. Tucked away in Washington Heights is the Cloisters museum and gardens. Located in Fort Tyron Park (which is absolutely incredible in the fall), this hidden part of the Metropolitan Museum has some of the coolest medieval art and architecture in the city. It’s the perfect place to get some sunlight and silence away from the rush of the city, all while getting to walk around the beautiful gardens and stained glass windows.
With all the gorgeous trees and trails, be prepared to feel like you’re in a different city for the day. The walk to the museum itself is one the best parts of coming to the Cloisters. Fort Tryon Park overlooks the Hudson River and boasts the best sunset views we’ve ever seen. The leaves right now are stunning shades of red and gold, which happened to look so perfect with our Sorella bag in watermelon.
Our Fall 2014 handbag collection is well underway and we’re so excited about all of the events we have planned these next few months! As always, stay tuned for updates with what we’re doing here at Lauren Cecchi New York.
Yours in style,
Lauren Cecchi New York Team
