Restaurant Week

Here at LCNY there are certain things we just can’t live without; great shoes, a great handbag, and last but certainly not least, really good food.

This past week was the beginning of restaurant week here in the city, an event that happens twice a year when participating restaurants offer three-course lunches for $25 and dinners for $38. From February 17-March 7, restaurants create special menus and debut some of their best dishes for New Yorkers to get their hands on.

What we love about restaurant week is that its perfect opportunity to try out amazing restaurants at prices they only offer during this time.  Some other participating restaurants we love are Tao Uptown, Ai Fiori, Haru, Fig and Olive and Blue Fin. This week we visited Dos Caminos at their Soho location (on Broadway and W. Houston) and grabbed an amazing three-course lunch for $25. We had the applewood smoked bacon taquitos to start, the skirt steak asada salad for our entrée and the Mexican chocolate mousse for dessert. It was super filling and super delicious, especially for such an amazing price.
