After Amsterdam we hopped on an EasyJet and flew into Gatwick. We were in London when we had our first sample two years ago so it was bittersweet to be back. The reason for our last stop to be London was we had the pleasure of hosting a trunk show in one of the coolest stores on Dover Street, Wolf & Badger.
The trunk show was a success and everyone enjoyed cupcakes from Hummingbird with some champagne on the side. It was very exciting to meet people from across the pond so thank you for everyone coming out! Check out the pictures from the event!
Aside from the trunk show we had a day to explore the city, which is our favorite thing to do in any city. We walked around Trafalgar Square and Covet Garden, shopped on Regency Street, Bond Street, and Dover Street. Don’t worry we didn’t do too much damage we already shopped our way through Paris and Amsterdam we were spent! But of course stopped into Liberty.
Note to all girls who are looking for a nail salon in central London, check out Top Shop! Yes Top Shop! We went to the bottom floor and discovered there was a hair salon, nail salon, tattoo parlor, and piecing salon! Who knew! They also had amazing emerging designers and vintage, which we found lots of goodies. Cici London and House of CB were some of our favorites. Definitely need an entire empty suitcase next time I am in London to bring back things.
For dining we had to have dinner at Sketch for a special gourmet meal and we also ate at a quaint Italian place in Covet Garden Joe Allen. For drinks we suggest heading to the roof of the Trafaglar Hotel for a spectacular view of the city and the London Eye.
To do next time: More fine dining, wish we were able to go to the Chanel museum, we missed it by only a few days, and would like to explore the countryside.
Yours in Style,
Lauren
