The Girl that went to Paris
As a fellow “L.C.”, I actually made it to Paris! The Accessories Council was graciously offered LCNY a booth at the Capsule Paris Women’s Show to present our Spring/Summer 2016 Coastal Collection to buyers from around the world! My team and I were obviously SO IN! Here is a one of a three-part entry written by your’s truly about our trip!
If you have been following @LaurenCecchi on Instagram you have noticed we have been globetrotting to Paris, Amsterdam, and London. We headed to Paris for our first time for Capsule and got straight to work! We got a great response to our new prices, (have you not seen? Get to shopping!) the Bella Backpack, and the introduction of our Coastal Collection! We had a wonderful time and hopefully we will be getting into more international stores!
While in Paris we wanted to let you in on some fun activities we got to do and a few we didn’t have time for but will definitely be on our agenda next visit. Having never been to Paris before the Eiffel Tower was a must and it was absolutely beautiful! We sipped champagne on the lawn while admiring its beauty.
Everyone knows a little champagne goes a long way so we wanted to sample some quintessential Parisian cuisine. We dined at a cute restaurant just across the river where we had French toast and cream brulee’ and watched the tower light up every hour. It was a spectacular first night in Paris! If you are looking for more substantial food than decadent breakfast and dessert we also recommend dining at Chez Julien, it was absolutely magnificent in every way!
You can’t go to Paris with out doing a little shopping, right? The next day we hit the Champs-Élysées (of course) and popped into Chanel, Celine, and YSL just to name few. I may be a handbag designer but I am a fashion lover of all kinds. For night owls that don’t make it up in time for a casual shopping trip and like to head straight out into the nightlife, we suggest L’Arc. It is a lovely venue and we were lucky enough to party with some A-listers from Paris Fashion Week. But we do not party and tell!
To do next time: Considering we were pinched on time, next visit we’d like to go up the Eiffel Tower and into the Louvre. By making the mistake of not purchasing tickets in advance we arrived to each attraction with long lines. Learn from our mistake buy ahead! We would also like to dine at Ferdi, go to Parisian shops for tradition Parisian clothing and explore the city more! Possibly attend a PFW show; Chanel would be a dream of course!
Part II: Amsterdam is our next stop! Stay tuned and chat with me on Twitter @laurencecchi with any questions or suggestions about our trip!
Yours in Style,
