We could all use a little culture here and there, so why not stop at one of the most acclaimed fashion schools in the country for a lesson on 70’s style? 70’s fashion has filtered into the accessories and apparel of our current generation, so you absolutely must see the new exhibit of YSL and Halston at FIT in New York City. What is more fitting than a designer exhibit at a prominent fashion school in the big apple?

Located at The Museum at FIT, Yves Saint Laurent + Halston: Fashioning the ’70s celebrates the relaxed glamour of a golden decade. Each designer has 80 ensembles and 20 accessories to showcase each designer’s craft at the height of their careers. The exhibition was made possible by apparel donors including but not limited to Lauren Bacall, Marina Schiano, Aimée de Heeren, Mary Russell and Tina Chow. The museum began February 6 and runs through April 18, 2015, so check it out this weekend for a lesson in fashion!
