We are HUGE fans of brunch so we always want to update the people of NYC our favorite brunch spots in our favorite city. Here are some places you will not regret trying!

Friend of a Farmer

We love this cozy café on Irving in Gramercy Park because it is warm and inviting with delicious food. Check out their brunch on the weekends because you can’t go wrong with the eggs benedict traditional or with a crab cake! They use all fresh fruit and veggies from local farmers so you know you are getting real freshness.  Also, don’t be deterred by the long line on a Saturday morning it moves quickly!

Located right by the Highline this restaurant has delicious breakfast food with a twist. The spiced apple beignets with fresh ricotta cheese and apple sauce are TO DIE FOR and three eggs & bacon in a bowl, can we say more? Friendly service and an inviting atmosphere this is a spot to bring a Tinder date or brunch with your girlfriends. This place also has outdoor seating so enjoy the beautiful weather that is on the radar for this weekend!

The Cornelia Street Café

The cozy little spot in West Village is a great brunch spot. We like their Prix Fixe menu for $22 which includes an appitzer, entrée, choice of cocktail and tea or coffee. The Huevos Racheros are pretty delicious but we are a pancake and banana bread fan here! You can’t get these at brunch but if you do come back to Cornelia’s for dinner get the Mussels they are so good in a white wine and garlic butter sauce.

We have been going to this restaurant a few years now for their famous matza ball soup for lunch and never thought why not brunch here? With their limited menu you can’t go wrong with anything but their house curred duck bacon is a gift from the bacon gods and Jack’s Breakfast will keep you full until next week. If you are one of those people who likes lunch during brunch they have a killer burger.

So where are you heading to brunch this weekend? Be sure to tag us @laurencecchi in your post and show us what you are eating at our favorite brunch spots!
