A Weekend in NYC

By : ,

Sometimes, our schedules can turn us into workaholics for the sake of doing well in the office. But with the weather getting colder and winter quickly approaching, now is the time to relax away from work on a crisp fall day. To get you started, we’ve taken the liberty of rounding up the greatest options for a weekend in the big apple.

If you’re an avid music lover, you should absolutely check out the CMJ Music Marathon. With over 1,300 artists showcasing their talent from October 21-25 at over 80 venues, there’s something for everyone! Next on our list involves food and wine, so what’s not to love? The NYC Wine and Food Fest has intimate dinners, walk-around tastings and cooking seminars, leaving no culinary stone unturned from October 16-19. Plus, you might even pick up some new culinary skills for the holidays! If you’re a film junkie, the NY Film Festival is just for you. The country’s leading film festival showcases countless films every day from documentaries to mainstream dramas from September 26-October 12. Lastly, if you’re more of the creative type, you should check out the Museum of Modern Art. With a vast collection of media, exhibitions, film, lectures and performance art, there’s always something to do year round at this palace of art. When you live in a city as unique and sprawling as New York, it would be a shame not to take advantage of all that it has to offer.

Yours In Style,
