4 Decades: 4 Different Halloween Costumes

By : ,

Halloween used to be so easy when you were a kid. Your parents bought your costume for you, and you got to go trick-or-treating around your neighborhood with friends while getting tons of candy. The older you get, the more stressful it is to figure out a costume. With the fashion trends right now, it is super easy to figure out a Halloween costume from pieces that are currently in style. We thought of 4 different Halloween outfits, for 4 different decades.

1960’s Mod

What you will need

White Boots

Solid color shift dress

Statement earrings

1970’s Hippie

You could walk into any store right now and find something that would be perfect to wear for the decade of the 1970’s. Our favorite places to look for this type of style are Free People and Forever 21.

What you will need

Flare Jeans  or Striped Bell Bottoms

Colorful striped tee or band tee

White or brown boots

Part hair in the middle or add some boho braids to it

Neon shirt

Biker shorts

Chunky white sneakers with socks

Accessorize with a sweatband or scrunchie and you are good to go!

What you will need

Graphic tank top
